No, using a “Unlocked” PS4 to access online services or games may lead to a ban from PlayStation Network (PSN). This device is primarily designed for offline gaming and customization. If you want to play online, simply unplug the P4 Burn and restart your console, which will remove the “Unlock” from your PS4.
Does it work with any PlayStation console?
The P4 Burn is intended solely for PS4 consoles with system software version 11.00 or lower. It is not compatible with PS5, PS3, or any other PlayStation models. Be sure to check your PS4's system software version before purchasing to confirm compatibility.
Does the P4 need to stay plugged in?
No, the P4 Burn doesn't have to stay plugged in all the time. However, if you fully turn off your console instead of putting it in sleep mode, the “Unlock” will be removed, and you'll need to use the P4 Burn again to re-“Unlock” it.
